I am trying a new hobby… something non-verbal to help me relax. MarshAster, you will be glad to know it’s knitting! And I kind of picked it because of you… watching you turn yarn into beautiful pieces is inspiring. Only problem is, I’m here and you’re there, which means I’m learning how from — you guessed it — a book.
I’m looking to build a community of people I can ask about knitting (I think I’ll start with the ubiquitous scarf). I know there are lots of you out there — I see you with your nifty bags at our classes and gatherings, so if you knit and are willing to field questions, leave me a comment!
